Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Wednesday's trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's trading session higher on almost all indices, with trades totaling 122.45 million RON (25.17 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.09%, to 20,648.94 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.07%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an increase of 0.05%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, gained 0.03%, compared to the previous day.
In contrast, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, lost 0.14% of its value, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose by 0.13%.
At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an increase of 0.96%.
The most liquid stocks were those of OMV Petrom, with transactions totaling 257.7 million RON, followed by Banca Transilvania shares - with 8.16 million RON, and Fondul Proprietatea - 3.9 million RON.
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by the shares of Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (+10.09%), Condmag (+6.45%) and Aeta (+3.6%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (-10%), Green Tech International (-6.52%) and Transilvania Investments Alliance (-3.42%).
