The lowest temperature in northern Maramures County, minus 32 degrees Celsius, was recorded at the Iezer weather station in the Rodna Mountains, informed, on Friday, the spokesperson of the Maramures County Committee for Emergency Situations, Dan Buca.
The snow layer measured 45 cm at the Iezer Weather Station.
Iezer meteorologial station is situated at 1,785 m, at the bottom of the Pietrosul Rodnei peak, at 500m far from the lake Iezer which has the shape of Romania's map.
