Romania: flu death toll reaches 127

Three more people died of flu, with the number of flu deaths this winter season having reached 127 people.

According to the latest information released on Friday by the National Center for Communicable Disease Monitoring and Control within the National Institute of Public Health, the three deceased are men - two from Galati, aged 50 and 55 years respectively, confirmed with type-A influenza virus, and another, aged 63 years, from Caras-Severin, also with type-A influenza virus.
All three had pre-existing medical conditions and had not been vaccinated against flu.
