Romanian stock indices close lower on Friday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday's trading session with most indices in the red and RON 58.076 million (EUR 11.45 million) worth of transactions.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, dipped 0.01 percent to 20,557.04 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares closed in line with the previous session.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.16 percent lower, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK fell 0.34 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies lost 0.78 percent, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG slid 0.25 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market went down 0.17 percent.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Banca Transilvania with RON 20.027 million, followed by Transgaz with RON 2.764 million worth of trading, and energy company Electrica with RON 2.713 million.
The best performing issuers were Turism Felix (+3.83%), Prefab (+3.52%), and energy company Electrica (+2.98%).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were UAMT (-9.55%), Black Sea tourism company TRH Marea Neagra (-8.04%), and Carbochim (-6.17%).
