President of the Galati County Council (CJ) Costel Fotea announced that construction begun on the first floor of the 40 million-euro hospital in the city of Tecuci, with completion scheduled for 2026.
'An important milestone for the 40 million-euro hospital in Tecuci - the casting of the first floor's structure has begun. On Monday, 450 cubic metres of concrete started being cast for the 2,300-square-metre structure of the first floor of the new hospital in Tecuci - an investment by the County Council worth 40 million euros. We are keeping our promise: we are rebuilding Tecuci's healthcare system from the ground up,' Costel Fotea told the press on Tuesday.
According to the same source, the new medical facility in Tecuci will have a total area of 10,000 square metres, and 60% of the departments from the current "Anton Cincu" Municipal Hospital will be relocated there, 'into a modern, safe space adapted to patients' needs.' AGERPRES
