Former Bucharest District 5 Mayor Marian Vanghelie was picked up by prosecutors on Thursday from his home in Bucharest and taken to the National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA).
Also on Thursday, anti-corruption prosecutors conducted raids in a case involving Vanghelie.
Judicial sources told AGERPRES that Vanghelie would have done private business with the Bucharest District 5 City Hall through intermediaries.
